Feds providing 2 LGBTQ+ organizations $100k to help with prevention, education amid monkeypox spread: Guilbeault
Canada's Environment and Climate Change Minister Steven Guilbeault announced on Thursday that AIDS Committee of Toronto, as well as MAX in Ottawa, will each receive $100,000 in funding to support "the most vulnerable and at-risk members of their communities" amid the spread of monkeypox. This, he said, is to help with prevention, education and awareness and anti-stigma activities toward LGBTQ+ communities.
