Canada’s Brendan Mackay and Rachael Karker both earned medals in World Cup freeski halfpipe on Friday.The Calgary native finished behind Birk Irving and ahead of David Wise , both of the U.S., on the podium.
Karker of Erin, Ont., picked up bronze in the women’s competition with her second-run score of 91.75.The 25-year-old Karker is the reigning Olympic bronze medallist in the event.
