The Robinson Huron Treaty Litigation Fund leaders say they\u0027ve reached a proposed settlement with the governments of Ontario and Canada
“We know reconciliation cannot be achieved in the courtroom,” he said in a statement.
“Our communities have struggled economically, culturally, and socially because of this breach of Treaty,” said Chief Dean Sayers of the Batchewana First Nation. Sayers said all sides will come up with a deal on how to share the revenues generated from resources in the future.
