That work towards a “safe, equal world” will come into focus this week as 150 activists gather in Ottawa for a three-day conference on “Canada’s Role In The World Advancing SOGIESC Human Rights,” keying in on issues regarding sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics.
