One of Canada’s biggest property investors has snapped up a North Fort Worth shipping hub.

Manulife Investment Management bought Alliance Gateway 11, a 788,160-square-foot warehouse at 5300 Westport Parkway.“Our client’s portfolio strategy is to increase its allocation to the industrial sector by acquiring and developing modern, functional warehouse assets,” Manulife’s Pritesh Patel said in a statement. “Alliance Gateway 11 represents an ideal long-term investment for their portfolio.”

The industrial building was developed by Hillwood and is the latest sale in North Fort Worth’s AllianceTexas.with more than 900,000 square feet of space to New York-based investor KKR.of industrial buildings around the U.S. to CBRE Investment Management in a deal valued at $5 billion.Terms of the most recent sale to Manulife were not disclosed.
