It is not recommended to try doing this diet yourself and it is only available through GP referrals if you meet certain criteria. It could be dangerous to attempt doing this diet without consulting a healthcare practitioner first and you should always speak to a GP before making changes to your diet.
The programme is being offered to people around England. It is separate from the weight loss jab Wegovy that will be provided by some specialist NHS weight-loss management services.
