Rochester, N.Y.- One local non-profit is helping the Rochester community thrive by bringing necessary resources to a one-stop-shop in the Lyell-Otis area.Camero
Monroe County's Mobile Resource Center was on hand to bring awareness to the various ways the county can help, April 16, 2024.
The fair was held at their Teen Center on Cameron Street, which is also where they host a weekly outreach program. The fair allowed local people to stop by and get free food, clothing, as well as register for afterschool care and summer camps. "This is great because a lot of people don't have the financial stability to get cuts all the time," said Toni White, an apprentice in the program. "When we're doing all this we're providing them for free, free facials, free cuts, you know the free food all of that, it helps a lot of people in this community that don't have that."
