One person that was in the home at the time of the fire was taken to a nearby hospital with significant burns and is currently in a stable condition, city officials said. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the city’s fire marshal, according to officials. “We are very, very lucky we only have smoke damage,” said Palley. “We do not have water damage and the fire did not fully penetrate the firewall.”
