The Camden County Sheriff’s Office on Friday announced two arrests in an investigation into the death of a 60-year-old man who reportedly drowned Wednesday in a hotel pool.

According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, authorities were called to investigate the drowning that occurred early in the early morning Wednesday at the SureStay Hotel in St. Mary’s.

The Sheriff’s Office said investigators retrieved surveillance video from the pool area of the hotel, which showed two men and a woman at the pool. All three reportedly worked for a contracted company on the Kings Bay Naval Base. One of the men was identified as the victim. Investigators said after reviewing the video, they arrested Shane White and Brianna Quitugua.

White faces charges of aggravated assault and felony murder. Quitugua was arrested for party to a crime for aggravated assault and party to a crime felony murder.
