The Proteas U19 Women’s team showcases their talent in the T20 World Cup, advancing to the Super 6 stage with impressive performances.
The Under-19 Proteas women side will advance to the next round of the T20 World Cup in Malaysia, after dominating performances with the bat and ball during their first three matches.
“The main thing we have focused on was staying calm at the crease. I think Simone really helps me with that and I try to keep her calm as much as I can. Also try to follow the plan to the best of our ability, find the boundaries and just put our team in a good space,” Botha said. “The girls have been really united and backing each other which is beautiful to see and it's nice to know that I am backed and I have theirs as well. So, we just going to take each step in our stride and see how far we go, hopefully we can make the final,” Botha said.
