Both teams will play their final scheduled games against UCLA and USC, who are leaving the Pac-12 in 2024 for the Big Ten.
Stanford and Cal both released their 2023 football schedules Wednesday morning as the Pac-12 unveiled its plan for the fall.
The Cardinal opens conference play the following week at USC in the final scheduled matchup between the Pac-12’s two private institutions. USC, along with UCLA, will leave in 2024 for the Big Ten. Taylor will face his former team in Stanford’s home opener against Sacramento State Sept. 16, the first of three straight home games.
