Wilcox and a couple players, made available for their weekly media session, were shoulder to shoulder on one point: They would not be sharing details about staff reorganization or how practice would be conducted. “It will be collaborative in game planning and all the way through game day,” said Wilcox, whose expertise is defense but hinted he may be poking his nose into offensive meetings this week.
“That in itself kind of generated some excitement within the team . . . ‘Hey, we’re doing different stuff here. We’re going to learn new things, like this is going to be kind of fun for us.'”
