President Cyril Ramaphosa has called a special cabinet meeting for Sunday to discuss ways of intensifying the battle against the coronavirus in South Africa as the number ofHealth Minister Zweli Mkhize says three of the 14 new cases of the coronavirus in South Africa are of people who are older than 70.All of the confirmed new cases are of people who had travelled overseas.

Mkhize says in a statement that seven new cases have been confirmed in Gauteng, six in the Western Cape and one in KwaZulu-Natal.
