Sharing videos and photos of the burning vehicle, Mr Sin said he called the Singapore Civil Defence Force .also shared a video showing cars slowly go past the tipper truck as firefighters doused the flames with a water jet. In response to a Stomp query, SCDF said it was alerted to a vehicle on fire along ECP towards Changi Airport before Still Road South exit at about 7.15pm.
"The fire involved the engine compartment and cabin of a tipper truck. SCDF extinguished the fire using a water jet," said SCDF.
