One is for the seat of former B.C. Premier John Horgan held in the Langford-Juan de Fuca riding. The other is for the Vancouver-Mount Pleasant riding.The deadline for candidate nominations has been set for 1 p.m. on June 3.
Following the closure of nominations, the final list of candidates will be published on the Elections BC website.A resident of either Langford-Juan de Fuca or Vancouver-Mount Pleasant,Those that meet the eligibility criteria will then have to register to vote. Registration is open immediately and can be done by visiting theRegistration closes at midnight on June 14. Voters are encouraged to register early so they may receive the most up-to-date information on where to vote.
Currently, those in the Langford-Juan de Fuca riding can vote at the district’s electoral office, located in the Belmont Market Shopping Centre, in Langford.
