Million Parcel: 'It has come to our attention that some unscrupulous individuals are using our product and logo to conduct fraudulent activities. We would like to alert you to this scam and ensure the safety of our loyal buyers.'

At least six people have lost a total of at least $8,000 to a phishing scam involving TikTok since July 2, said police.

After clicking on the URL link embedded in the fake advertisements, the victims would be directed to a phishing site, where they would be required to key in their credit card details and One-Time Passwords to make the purchase. The company said:"It has come to our attention that some unscrupulous individuals are using our product and logo to conduct fraudulent activities. We would like to alert you to this scam and ensure the safety of our loyal buyers."ADD - Scamshield App and security features, such as two-factor or multifactor authentication for banks.

TELL - authorities, family, and friends about this scam so they do not fall for it. Report any fraudulent transactions to your bank immediately and report the fraudulent advertisements to TikTok.
