One lane of the A611 was shut towards Hucknall

A photo of the incident, taken at around 6.20pm shows two police vehicles parked on the northbound carriageway. A police van and car can be seen with flashing lights turned on.

Meanwhile, three officers are stood on the road, one beside the emergency vehicles and two more close to a white car which is sat just before a set of traffic lights. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash. An eyewitness told Nottinghamshire Live that despite the incident, traffic was still able to travel smoothly along the busy road, which connects Hucknall and Annesley.
