CCTV investigations found the street had a void sewer pipe.
High Street will be closed between its junctions with Duke Street and Rottenrow from January 9, 2023.

"We know this is a busy part of the city and we will therefore do all we can to minimise disruption where possible. “We would like to thank road users, local residents and businesses in advance for their patience and understanding while these essential works are being carried out.”
