The Police in Modimolle have activated a manhunt for a group of suspects that committed a business robbery at one of the supermarkets at Phomolong in Phagameng at Modimolle policing precinct. The incident occurred on 30 October 2023 around 15:00.
It is reported that the armed suspects went into the said supermarket and pointed the owner and his brother with firearms and demanded money. The suspects then robbed them of an undisclosed amount of money and one cell phone. Thereafter, the suspects tied them with shoelaces and fled from the scene. The Police were alerted and immediately opened a case of business robbery for further investigations.
