SA government will pay for their flights back to SA,” spokesman Clayson Monyela wrote on Twitter. “There are 12 more nationals that will leave Sudan today. According to the Gift of the Givers team working with DIRCO, a third bus has been arranged for the four South Africans left behind. “So far, we know of six South Africans who arrived in Port Sudan, three in Djibouti, two who chose not to leave, one near a mine somewhere still deciding what to do, and we believe some are in South Sudan,” says Gift of the Givers’ Imtiaz Sooliman.Meanwhile, Minister of International Relations and Corporation, Dr Naledi Pandor, says the South African government is reiterating its call for a peaceful resolution in Sudan.
