LONDON - A London bus stop has been transformed into a children’s art gallery by a local resident who wanted to brighten the drudgery of lockdown life, creating a colourful community hub amid the anxiety and isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sarah Lamarr, a part time teacher and mother of 4-year-old Rosie, started the gallery when she woke up the day after Britain’s coronavirus lockdown began and realised she would be stuck inside indefinitely with only a bland bus stop to look at. “If you have a bus stop near you I would really encourage anyone to do the same because it’s just a really lovely thing to have in your community,” she said.
