The new prices will cover a three-month period

There are reduced bus ticket prices on Nottingham City Transport buses heading into the new year. The maximum single fare for any journey will be £2 across all NCT services between January, February and March 2023 due to the Government-funded Help for Households initiative.

These trips are included on routes through to Loughborough, Southwell and Woodborough. The standard adult city area single will reduce from £2.50 to £2.00 and if you usually buy an all-day ticket, but only make two journeys a day, you can pay just £4.00 by paying for a single ticket on both buses you use.

All adult, under-19 and student single fares which are already £2 or less, £4.70 day tickets and all other tickets, such as Easyrider and longer term mobile tickets, remain at their normal prices. Buses will not be running on Christmas Day - which this year falls on Sunday - or Boxing Day. Buses run as normal up until December 23 and will resume as such on January 3.
