A 24-year-old bus driver has been arrested and charged following a fatal road crash in Giffnock last September. A 73-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after he was tragically hit by the bus while crossing the road.

The 24-year-old has been charged in connection with road traffic offences after striking a pensioner on Fenwick Road on Friday, September 1, 2023.
