A number of services are impacted
A number bus diversions are in place following a police incident in Upper Parliament Street in Nottingham city centre. Police have closed part of the road and set up a cordon in Upper Parliament Street due to the incident.
Nottingham City Transport said that the situation was affecting a number of bus services at 2.24pm on Wednesday, November 23. Nottinghamshire Police said the incident was thought to be ongoing.READ MORE: Police seeking extra time to question suspect over Clifton flat fire As a result, NCT services 15, 16, 17, 45, 46, 47, 56, 57, 58, 59, 68, 69, 70, 71, 87, 88, 89 are using Burton Street, down the side of the Cornerhouse, instead of going through Upper Parliament Street. Turquoise 77, 78, 79/A are using stop M2 outside the lighting shop and Cathedral named stops only.A spokesperson for NCT said: "Due to a City Centre incident, Pink 28, 30 are serving their Upper Parliament Street stop only. Orange 35, 36 are serving Angel Row only.
"Turquoise 77, 78, 79/A are using stop M2 outside the lighting shop and Cathedral named stops only. Due to a City Centre incident, services 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 50 are terminating at the Pryzm named stop. "Due to a City Centre incident, services 15, 16, 17, 45, 46, 47, 56, 57, 58, 59, 68, 69, 70, 71, 87, 88, 89 are using Burton Street, down the side of the Cornerhouse."
