Flowers Foods, Inc. out of Thomasville, Georgia, is voluntarily recalling hamburger and hot dog buns and other baked products due to the potential presence of small pieces of hard plastic that may have been introduced during production, according to a release issued by the company. The plastic pieces could pose a choking hazard.
The recalled products were distributed under a variety of names to retailers in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.Dog treats recalled in 33 states after 'potential of Salmonella contamination'Most burgers and sliders are served on high-quality toasted brioche buns.
