An injury to Kurt-Lee Arendse overshadowed the Bulls victory in their United Rugby Championship playoff win over Benetton.
The Bulls held on to secure a 30-23 win over Benetton but lost Kurt-Lee Arendse to injury in the first half of their URC playoff match.
Benetton’s Onisi Ratave was on fire all game and he nearly created another score but Alessandro Garbisi couldn’t hold his pass. In the second half it was a lot tighter and the Bulls used the scoreboard pressure and the boot of Goosen to stay just about in touch. Goosen slotted a penalty with just over five minutes to go that meant Benetton would have to score a converted try to force extra time.
