The Water and Sanitation Directorate has detected a burst in part of its Bulk Water System in George Road, Ottery. The burst affects numerous households within the area, which will experience low or no water pressure:
Water tankers will be made available from Wednesday, 28 June, to attend to residents experiencing no water.
At the time of publication, a repair timeline and action plan has yet to be made as the Bulk Water team had not been able to excavate or assess the burst. ‘Once we receive more information from them, we will promptly share our detailed plan of action with you,’ adds Badroodien. ‘Please be assured that we will do everything possible to ensure the burst is repaired in the shortest possible timeframe.’Explore the beauty of Cape Town with this 60-minute cruise for one person for just R155 .
