Anthem Development is asking for zoning to build on almost 14 acres adjacent to DART’s Lake Ray Hubbard transit center at Duck Creek Drive and Greenbelt Parkway. The site is just north of Interstate 30. The proposed Lofts iThirty apartments would include 340 units and five buildings. Cross Architects designed the rental community.
“Amenities for the development include two swimming pools, a clubhouse, a two-level fitness center, a dog park, a pet spa and two leisure areas with tables, grills and lounge recliners,” the zoning request states. “Although primarily residential, the proposed development incorporates a ground floor that is ‘retail ready’ with appropriate ceiling heights and exterior areas for patios/plazas that could be converted to commercial uses as the market transitions.
