It might have taken one of the biggest games in the local football calendar to do so, but Riveiro, by his own admission, might have found a solution to the club’s right-back headache. He featured twice as a substitute for the Buccaneers since joining – but was left as an unused sub in their 1-1 draw against Cape Town Spurs midweek.Therefore, it came as a surprise that he was named in the starting XI for the Soweto Derby, where he not only had a solid overall match – but he scored a cracker of a goal to equalize the game at 2-2.
“ not a problem, but for many reasons it's true that it's been a headache for us. Even the last season, if you remember, we played Paseka Mako as a right full almost the second half of the season. So, it it's forcing us always to look for positions. We were very unfortunate with Bandile and with Thabiso in that position. There were really few times last season that they both were fit at the same time.
