BTS' Jungkook responds to fans asking, 'What is the reason you made a dirty version of Seven'?
LATTOThe global idol has proven his musical prowess and proved his skills once again."Seven" debuted at the top of the coveted Billboards HOT 100 and landed #1 on the global Spotify chart.During a live stream, one fan asked Jungkook,"Why is that dirty version? Explain to me first why you think it's dirty." I was deciding on which version, between the two, to release. But I decided to release both.
He further explained that he did contemplate a lot about releasing the two versions but wanted to show a different side to himself. He explained," But this is what I think. If I don't show a new side to myself on my own accord, I can't be acknowledged. For example, I am the maknae of the group and have the image of the youngest member...People like that image of me so I respect it and follow it. But then what can I change for myself, in my life? I need to change too."
Jungkook elaborated that he wanted to break away from the set image he had over the years and wanted to attempt something new.
