The principal of Ekuthuleni Primary School in Western Cape was killed in a hail of bullets as he entered the premises on Thursday morning.
The Economic Freedom Fighters has condemned the brutal murder of Ekuthuleni Primary School principal in Bloekombos, Kraaifontein in the Western Cape.as he drove into the school on Thursday morning while a woman he was with in the car sustained injuries and was rushed to hospital.Three suspects allegedly approached the principal’s car, fired several shots and fled in an unknown vehicle. Sadly, the principal was declared dead on scene.
The party said the tragic reality is that instead of being a safe haven, schools have now become crime hotspots. To make matters worse, in this case, the horrifying sight of violence was witnessed by young children who have just returned to school. “We demand an immediate and thorough investigation into this incident, along with an urgent and comprehensive strategy to tackle the growing crisis of crime in our communities,” the party added.
“Our district team is on the ground at the school to offer support to the staff and learners today and in the coming days. We trust that the SAPS will leave no stone unturned in locating and apprehending the perpetrators,” the MEC said.Having left Russian club, FC Fakel Voronezh, Bafana Bafana midfielder Thabo Cele is reportedly on Kaizer Chiefs’ radar again.
