Bruno Fernandes has reacted to the news that his Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly trying to push for a move away from the Red Devils. SLInt MORE:
The Portuguese playmaker was joined by his international colleague in Manchester last year, but could see Ronaldo leave Old Trafford earlier than expected, with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner said to be desperate to leave the club in this window.
Fernandes, however, has suggested the United squad is still in the dark as to Ronaldo's future, but did confirm that the ex-Real Madrid talisman has been absent from the team's pre-season for valid reasons."I don't know what Cristiano said to the club, to the manager, I don't know what's going on in his head, but we have to respect his space.
"Cristiano was our top scorer last season, he added goals to us, but obviously it's not on me, it's the club that has to make the choices and Cristiano makes his own choice.
