The Browns' Nov. 7, 2021 victory over the Bengals — their largest margin of defeat of the season at 25 — bodes well for the Browns’ future based on the dominant performance of their defense.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — On Nov. 7 in Cincinnati, the Browns made Joe Cool look like an ordinary Joe, and it seemed like they were on track to achieve their goal of winning the AFC North.
In a 41-16 victory over the Bengals, they intercepted Joe Burrow twice — including a 99-yard pick-six by Denzel Ward — and sacked him five times, playing him as tough as any opponent all season. Burrow finished the game with a 69.0 rating, his second-lowest of the season, and dropped to 0-3 lifetime against the Browns.
