Brothers Joshua and Jeremy Page, both students at Edison High School, died from their injuries after a crash involving a truck owned by the city of Huntington Beach Monday morning.

"I am so sorry to hear about the tragic traffic collision that took place this morning," Huntington Beach Mayor Barbara Delgleize said in a statement. "On behalf of myself and the City Council, we wish to extend our sincerest condolences to the families impacted by this terrible accident."

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Because the crash involved a city vehicle, the investigation is being conducted by the Police Department. The intersection was closed for most of the day as police conducted their investigation.
