Zwane grabbed a brace on his return to the Bafana Bafana side with debutant Mihlali Mayambela and Aubrey Modiba sealing a comfortable win.Speaking after the final whistle, Broos was full of praise for Zwane while hinting at an extended period with the national side. "I'm not a coach who usually reserves special praise for players but what Themba Zwane did today was great," Broos said post-match.
"Hopefully he is the missing link in our team. A guy who can hold the ball, who can give passes and a guy who can also score. "So I am very happy with his performance, it took a long time but you know my philosophy to introduce the youngsters first of all and then we will see."It's not easy for a coach after always saying no at first, but I am not afraid to do that and today Themba showed he deserves his place in the team.Bafana next host neighbours Botswana at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday.
