Brooke Vincent has been supported by one of her former Coronation Street co-star as she gave an update on her next big gig. during the usual drivetime co-host's maternity leave.

But she's not taking time off as the mum-of-two has headed straight into rehearsals for her stage debut in The Syndicate, the late Kay Mellor's final play being brought to life by her daughter and former Emmerdale star Gaynor Faye. She will play Amy, the sister-in-law of supermarket assistant Jamie, who will be played by Gaynor's son Oliver Anthony in his theatrical debut after singer Max George was forced to withdraw from the role.
