BISSELTOWN — A family of six is struggling to rebuild after escaping a house fire here on Monday night.

“We did an aggressive interior attack,” said the chief, adding firefighters were able to limit the amount of water used.Article content Bowman said he would never recommend to people to stay behind and try to fight a fire, advising instead they escape as quickly as possible, but the chief did note that Owen’s intervention did limit the size of the fire and its damage.
