To this end, the British Council is giving young creatives an opportunity to step closer to their dreams through its Creative Economy E-learning programme, which offers certified courses for entrepreneurs in the creative sector.
It has extended the invitation to people who own businesses in music, fashion, design, film making and photography in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, Sudan and Zimbabwe. Participants of the programme can do the courses in their own time, ensuring that they are able to work while they study.The Creative Economy basic course, which is a prerequisite, introduces creative entrepreneurship principles and touches on the African creative economy, as well as on how to bring one’s ideas to life.
