BritainsGotTalent act emotionally surprises daughter with audition as she wows judges
One mum surprised her daughter with the gift of a lifetime when she gave up her spot on Britain’s Got Talent to give her teen the chance to impress Simon Cowell and his fellow judges instead.
While her 15 year old daughter Tia assumed that she would be seeing her mum sing a song for the audience, Claire revealed that it was actually Tia who would be taking to the stage - much to the initial confusion of the judges. As Tia slowly walked onto the stage, the pair shared a hug before the teen returned to the stage, this time alone, where she wowed the four judges with her rendition of Whitney Houston’s classic I Didn't Know My Own Strength.
“Tia, that’s how you do it. I really love moments like this,” added Simon. “I absolutely love this audition.”
