Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris outperformed at Silverstone by unexpected Brit-born driver
British-born Alex Albon has stolen the headlines at Silverstone by out-performing home heroes Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and George Russell., who more often than not is left fighting at the back of the grid, astonishingly finished third in the opening two practice sessions, and second in the final test.
That means the London-born 27-year-old looks a near-certainty to be the story of qualifying for the British Grand Prix, despite Ferrari looking set to challenge Max Verstappen for pole position.
