Brit dies after falling ill on British Airways flight
Prior to the incident, cops said the duo had been in St Kitts and Nevis where the young man fell ill and was hospitalised.
He reportedly spent five days in intensive care and was further diagnosed with sepsis and blood poisoning. According to the mum, her son had become dehydrated and was losing weight rapidly after discharging himself from hospital. Antigua police said: "We are investigating this incident like we investigate all incidents of this nature.
"However, foul play is not suspected at this stage and we will be working with the family and will be cooperating with them fully."Imagine coming to our beautiful island and to end up like this. It is so sad. Our sympathy is with the family."
