OAKLAND — Three people confronted and robbed a Brink’s security guard of cash at gunpoint Wednesday, authorities said.The robbery happened in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven in the 4700 block of MacArthur Boulevard at about 9:35 a.m. The guard had just picked up cash from the store and was walking to the truck, according to police.One of the suspects took the satchel of cash, and they all fled in a vehicle, police said.
Police did not have an exact amount of cash that was taken but said it was believed to be in the thousands of dollars.
