Dockyard Social, on Haugh Road in Finnieston, is hosting a special Catyard Social event, giving families across the city the chance to enjoy some feline fun, as well as some of the country's top street food vendors.
Joking that the idea started as a "2023 April Fools stunt" but has since turned into the "ultimate event for cat lovers, cat businesses, cat owners and of course… cats", the team posted: "Grab your feline friends and grab a ticket to the most PURRRR-fect event in G-Town!"READ MORE: Glasgow Restaurant Week sees city's top food spots offering chance to dine out from just...
A spokesperson for the Dockyard Social said: "Everyone’s fave gaff in Glasgow - Dockyard Social - are doing a bring your cat event with market stalls tailored to cats and everything. What started as our April Fools stunt for last year was so popular we are doing it for real." Featuring market smalls aimed at cat owners, as well as street food from some of the country's top street food vendors, guests can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine from Noi Bangkok Street Food, Greek gyros and sides from the Gyro King, chicken burgers, wings, tenders from Mcfly's and homemade ice cream and desserts from Peacocks Ice Cream.
