Colin Way’s lawyer alleges ‘cyber violence’ against Way ‘has now turned into real violence’

Walsh said he couldn’t confirm the address where the incident occurred, but the incident was related to lights, and the man was attempting to pull down lights.SaltWire Network visited the Outer Battery shortly before noon on Friday to speak with residents. Some people said they slept through the incident, while others said they heard someone kick the door of Colin Way’s shed, the building at the centre of a dispute in the neighbourhood.
SaltWire did not observe any obvious or major damage to Way’s property on Friday, and the lights were still up and shining brightly. While SaltWire was there on Friday, two RNC officers with the force’s mounted unit said they were doing routine rounds in the area.Way’s lawyer, Bob Buckingham, stated in an email to media Friday afternoon that “cyber violence promoted and supported by the Outer Battery Group on their Facebook Page has now turned into real violence.”
