Netflix has released a brand new Bridgerton Season 3 poster for the highly-anticipated return of the popular romantic drama.
The poster spotlights this season’s main couple, Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. Bridgerton has been building up their love story since its first installment, where the pair were introduced as a close friends. The first half of Season 3 debuts on May 16, while the second half premieres on June 13.Based on Julia Quinn’s bestselling novel series, Bridgerton is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes and showrunner Jess Brownell.
“The next installment finds Penelope Featherington has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton after hearing his disparaging words about her last season. She has, however, decided it’s time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters,” reads the official synopsis. “But lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage mart fail spectacularly.
