Brian Baloyi believes Itu Khune, his management and Kaizer Chiefs should have all handled the current situation better.
Khune was in his final season with Chiefs last term, but he repeatedly expressed his desire to continue playing.
Baloyi, though, is of the view that Khune shouldn’t play the blame game, adding that retiring from any sport is not easy. “After all is said and done, as a man you have to take responsibility and stop with the blame game. I was chatting to friends recently and pointed out to them that in the past five to six years, he’s played less than 50 games.
“I am not only saddened by the whole situation, but also disappointed with the club, him and the team managing him because they should have dealt this with much better,” added Baloyi.Let us know by clicking on the comment tab below this article or by emailing [email protected] or sending a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1.
