The DUP has refused to join a government in NI until the checks are ditched. It means power-sharing has collapsed.And a source close to Ms Truss insisted: “This is about doing the right thing for Northern Ireland.”
Last night The Daily Telegraph reported that under the plan European judges will not be allowed a final say on NI disputes.
