Spurs saw a breakthrough in negotiations earlier this week after speculation over his future at the City Ground. The north London side beat off competition from Brentford who saw two bids rejected by Forest.
Following a round of negotiations between clubs earlier today, an agreement has been reached. The deal is understood to be in excess of £40m with add-ons included, confirms transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. The total package is said to be worth "up to £45m." The Wales international will now undergo a medical at Spurs' training ground. Boss Ange Postecoglou had made Johnson his number one priority this summer.Johnson joined the Reds at the age of eight and progressed through the youth ranks before making his senior debut at the age of 19 against West Bromwich Albion.
