The Premier Soccer League has officially announced the prize money for the recently launched Carling Black Label Knockout Cup.
The league and the organisers were mum, even to club owners, as to how much each of the 16 teams will get including the winner’s prize.
However, that information has been made public, and the ultimate winner will walk away with close to R7 million. In total, Carling Black Label has invested just over R20 million for this 16-team tournament which gets underway after this current FIFA break. What’s interesting is that all the teams will get a participation fee of R250 000 to go with the prize money for the Round of 16 which is R300 000.
