BREAKING | 'I've not stolen taxpayers money' - Ramaphosa claims innocence amid farm burglary charges

Parliament is looking to house physical meetings of the National Assembly in a"modular structure".

A 16-year-old Mpumalanga teenager has been arrested for allegedly murdering her two-week-old baby and stuffing the body in her school bag. The police’s statistics show that 4653 of the 10 818 rapes recorded between January and March this year occurred in the home of either the victim or the perpetrator. Police stations in Lusikisiki in the Eastern cape, Inanda in KwaZulu-Natal and Delft in the Western Cape recorded the highest incidents of rapes reported for the first quarter of 2022.

In just three months, 6 083 people were murdered in South Africa. The high number of murders between January and March this year represents a 22% increase from the same period last year when 4 976 murders were recorded. Two senior admin clerks at a Free State court have been arrested for allegedly defrauding the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development of R1 million. The fraud allegedly took place over a two-year period.

He was joined by the Minister in the Presidency as well as the Ministers of Police, Justice and Correctional Services, and Defence and Military Veterans. "She allegedly enticed the complainant who was looking for property into buying. The complainant paid R2.2 million for the property and when the complainant went past the property, he noticed that the house was being renovated," Hawks spokesperson Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo said on Thursday.

A statement widely circulated on social media on Wednesday afternoon, issued in Fraser's name, stated the complaint related to the alleged theft of"in excess of four million US dollars" from Ramaphosa's farm in Limpopo.
